Petty? Extremely.
Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight champion Ilia Topuria is currently navigating a messy divorce that has stalled his return to the Octagon — and now, it appears the personal turmoil has spilled into his real estate portfolio.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Topuria has officially listed the $3.5 million mansion he shared with soon-to-be ex-wife Giorgina Uzcategui. The property, located in the exclusive Las Lomas development in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Spain, has reportedly been on the market for about a week, though the news only recently made its way to North America.
The home is as absurd as you’d expect from a UFC champion: a fully equipped private MMA gym, spa, six-car garage, and 24/7 security — essentially a high-tech fight compound disguised as a luxury mansion (check it out here).
Enter Arman Tsarukyan.
The No. 1-ranked Lightweight contender — and bitter Topuria rival — saw an opportunity and couldn’t resist taking a shot.
“I’ll buy your house if you agree to fight me next,” Tsarukyan wrote on social media.
While clearly a troll, it’s one with teeth. Tsarukyan comes from serious money — his father is a Russian real estate tycoon, with reported family wealth north of $100 million (even if he denies it) — meaning the offer, ridiculous as it sounds, isn’t exactly unrealistic.
The jab is guaranteed to irritate Topuria, who has publicly stated he has no interest in giving Tsarukyan a title shot — a stance that oddly aligns with UFC CEO Dana White, who also appears lukewarm on the matchup.
As expected, fans had a field day once Tsarukyan hit “post,” flooding social media with reactions ranging from admiration to outright chaos.
This is the most expensive callout of all time
Boss move
3.5M is pocket change for you
not even the money he earned from his fights or his own struggle , flexing the money of his father. crazyy
Arman out here house-hunting and title-hunting at the same time
Bro, He’ll take your money and UFC title, but if you beat him, you took his house and his title, I’ll be epic nglArman has the chance to do the funniest thing right now
It’s the ultimate “I’m in your head” move, except he’s literally trying to get in his living room
Arman, buy his house and start dating his soon-to-be ex wife as well.
Whether or not the mansion actually changes hands, Tsarukyan accomplished exactly what he wanted: he’s going to get under the champion’s skin.
