One collector will soon own the headset of the coach who engineered one of the greatest and most shocking seasons in college football history.

The headset worn by Indiana coach Curt Cignetti throughout the Hoosiers' undefeated season, including their victory over Miami in the national title game, is up for auction at Bison Drop.

Bidding is currently at $15,000 with 11 days remaining.

This wouldn’t be the first time someone paid big money for a coach-worn headset. Bill Belichick’s game-worn Super Bowl XXXVI Motorola headset fetched $10,200 in 2018.

Proceeds from the Cignetti headset will go to Indiana’s NIL fund.
