Recent form
PSG have won two and lost two in their last four games, including being beaten by Sporting CP in their last Champions League outing.
Newcastle were beaten by Aston Villa on Sunday and have won just one of the last four, against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.
What’s been said?
PSG boss Luis Enrique: “The goal for us is to qualify for the last 16 by winning against a very good Newcastle team.
“They have a different style, but they are a very brave team and physically strong with lots of individual quality.
“We know Newcastle because we have played them in recent years, so it will be really tough. We knew how tough it would be before starting the league phase when we saw the draw.
“But the match was in the future, and it will be more important because our aim is to win the Champions League, and we are ready for this game.”
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe: “The bigger the game, the harder the challenge, the more you must rise to it.
“There have been several questions asked about our away form, to handle pressure, to be resilient.
“This will be a really good game to try and answer some questions and be effective in every environment that we play.”
