Over two months since his firing from the New York Giants, following a four-year tenure, Brian Daboll has found a new home in the NFL. He was mentioned as a potential head-coaching candidate for the Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills, but another team offered him a different position.
Similar to Mike McDaniel with the Los Angeles Chargers, Brian Daboll is set to join the Tennessee Titans as their offensive coordinator, unless he gets offered one of the two previously mentioned vacancies. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Tuesday.

“ESPN sources: The Titans are now set to hire former Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, contingent upon him not getting the Raiders head coaching job,” Schefter wrote.
Daboll will be in charge of developing former No. 1 pick Cam Ward under Robert Saleh’s management. The former San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator will return to the head coach position after a tumultuous tenure with the New York Jetss.
Brian Daboll went 20-40-1 with the Giants, posting only one winning season (9-7-1 in 2022). The Titans are a big challenge after finishing last season as one of the worst teams in the league. Ward showed promise, but many considered that he needed to be under a different coaching staff to start developing.
Daboll previously worked with Josh Allen on the Buffalo Bills. That should excite Titans fans about what he might be able to do with Ward.
