I’ve been building mobile apps for about 2 years, and the biggest mistake I see (and made myself) is this:
Starting to code before clearly understanding the user problem.
I used to jump straight into UI, animations, and features because it felt productive. But later I realized users didn’t care about most of it.
What actually helped:
- clearly define one problem the app solves
- build the smallest version that solves it
- get feedback as early as possible
Clean UI and more features come later.
Understanding the user comes first.
Hope this helps someone starting out.
