A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead inside a home in Melbourne's north yesterday.
Police found the 77-year-old woman unresponsive in a home on Saltlake Boulevard in Wollert at around 6.30am.
She was declared dead at the scene.

It is not known what injuries she sustained, and it has not been revealed how she may have died.
An 80-year-old-man was also at the house and was arrested.
Yesterday evening, he was charged with one count of murder.
Police believe the pair were known to each other.
The man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning.
