Muscat Nights – Where nights glow

Muscat – Visitors to Muscat Nights 2026 have shared largely positive impressions of the festival’s cultural showcases, lighting displays and family-friendly atmosphere, while also pointing to areas that need attention, including parking, wayfinding and crowd access. Have you been to Muscat Nights 2026 yet? Here is what Muscat Daily readers said –

Hussain Mohammed, Student

The events are spectacular, mainly the lighting and cultural shows. However, I feel parking facilities need to be improved. I was with my father last weekend and was stuck trying to find a spot to park. The area is very crowded and the authorities need to look into the matter at the earliest. It took us almost 20 minutes to find parking. We had to park at Al Araimi Complex and walk to the park.

I visited Muscat Nights 2026 at Amerat with my family on the opening weekend, and it truly felt special. What impressed me most was how well the event blends tradition with modern entertainment. The cultural performances, food stalls and lighting across the venue created a festive yet elegant atmosphere. It’s wonderful to see Muscat come alive at night and offer something enjoyable for all age groups.

I have been to Muscat Nights at Amerat, and I absolutely loved the energy there. The organisation was smooth, and the variety of activities stood out for me. From local handicrafts to live music and children’s zones, everything felt thoughtfully planned. What impressed me most was the strong Omani identity on food and décor and performances.

I visited Muscat Nights 2026 a few days ago with friends at Rose Garden, and it exceeded my expectations. The food section was my favourite – so many options, both traditional and international. The live shows from Europe and the poetry section added great excitement to the evening. What impressed me most was the crowd management and cleanliness despite the large turnout.

I went to Muscat Nights at Amerat last week, and the experience was truly enjoyable. The lighting, music and overall ambience made it feel magical. I especially liked the cultural displays and the way local artists were given a platform. What impressed me most was how the event encourages families to spend quality time together in a safe and vibrant environment. It’s a great addition to Muscat’s social calendar.  I loved the lighting show the most and took some great pictures.

I have been to Muscat Nights 2026 at Qurum Rose Garden with my wife and children, and it was a delightful experience. As an expatriate, I really appreciated how inclusive the event felt. The mix of Omani culture with international food, music and activities was impressive. It’s an event that truly reflects Muscat’s multicultural spirit.

This is my second visit to Oman and first to Muscat Nights at Rose Garden, and I was genuinely impressed. The scale of the event, combined with its attention to detail, made it very enjoyable. I loved exploring the local food stalls and watching the traditional performances – it felt authentic and engaging. Muscat Nights is a fantastic way to experience the city’s culture and community spirit and inclusiveness.

We went to Wadi al Khoud to attend Muscat Nights. However, we were unable to locate the venue and had to return disappointed. Later, we learnt the event is held near Mabelah. Sharing clear schedules and accurate location details through media would greatly help visitors and prevent such inconvenience.
