Grief continues to permeate the Street (Picture: ITV)

The grief of Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) death continues to torment the residents of Coronation Street, as next week sees a killer confession, a heart broken and a painful downward spiral.

While Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) struggles to manage the guilt he feels over killing Billy, he decides to speak directly to the dearly departed vicar’s body in the hopes of finding some peace. What he doesn’t count on, though, is somebody else being present.

At Billy’s funeral, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) steps up to deliver a eulogy. At first confident, his grief overcomes him and as he begins to close up, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) sends Theo up to help him.

Meanwhile, as Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) struggles to cope with the loss of her former son-in-law, she turns to the bottle to see her through. As she sinks Brandy at the bar, she’s joined by a stranger.

We’ve got all the deliciously dark spoiler clips you need to tide you over until next week, right here. Let’s have it!

As he hears a door creak, he tears out of the room, desperate to find out if he’s been overheard. Has someone rumbled Theo’s secret and fled?

As he begins to struggle, George sends Theo to help, and he wraps Todd in his arms.
