A guest at Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding has weighed in on the claim that his mother Victoria Beckham danced ‘inappropriately’ with him during his nuptials, in a since-deleted comment.
Stavros Agapiou attended the 2022 wedding in Miami with his partner DJ Fat Tony.
The couple attended the Palm Beach wedding in similar suits, as the DJ, 60, was asked to perform at the reception while the guests got going on the dance floor.
Agapiou hasresponded to a comment on Instagram regarding the reception, claiming: ‘I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth.’
Since then, the creative director deleted the comment and instead replied: ‘Good on him for finally speaking out!’
It comes after the younger Beckham’s bombshell claim about his mother’s behaviour at his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham, in a string of Instagram Stories.
The photographer-turned-chef made a host of claims regarding Sir David Beckham and his fashion designer mum on Monday evening, adding that he has no plan to mend fences.
In the lengthy statement, he claimed the former Spice Girl ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola and danced ‘inappropriately on me’ in front of their guests.
He went on to say that he had never felt more ‘uncomfortable or humiliated’ in his life.
The 26-year-old also alleged that his wife had been ‘disrespected’ by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party.
Since Brooklyn’s marmalade dropper post, his former England captain dad has made oblique reference to his children’s ‘mistakes’ on social media, while speaking at Davos in Switzerland.
Speaking live on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box, Sir David, 50, said he has spoken about the power of social media for ‘good and bad’.
He said: ‘What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons.’
Adding that he has tried to educate his own children on the platforms, he continued: ‘They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids, you sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.’
