Kianna Underwood, star of Nickelodeon show All That, has died aged 33 after being struck by a vehicle.

The fatal hit-and-run, reportedly involving an SUV that dragged the victim two blocks, took place on Friday morning, around 6:50am local time, in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Brownsville.

The NYPD pronounced a 33-year-old woman dead at the scene. No arrest has been made, according to Variety.

Underwood appeared in seven episodes of the popular children’s sketch comedy show, All That, opposite stars like Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Kenan Thompson.

The show ran from 1994 to 2005 and could be described as a younger version of SNL, featuring original short comedic sketches and weekly musical guests aimed toward a young audience.

She also voiced the animated character Fuchsia Glover, a cousin of the titular main character, for 23 episodes of Bill Cosby’s show, Little Bill, across five years from 1999 to 2004.

Elsewhere, the late New Yorker appeared in Nancy Savoca’s 1999 comedy, The 24-Hour Woman, in 1999 which starred Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Patti LuPone.

As well as voiceover credits for 2001’s Santa Baby, she also had a minor role in Death of a Dynasty, a satirical hip-hop comedy starring Kevin Hart.

Later, she toured with the hit musical, Hairspray, where she played little Inez.

‘I’m very devastated, you know, I see her all the time. She always had good spirits, happy, good energy …, It was very sad to hear that it was her,’ a laundromat worker near the scene of the crash told local paper Daily News.
