Virat, Anushka buy 5-acre land in Alibaug

Cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma have acquired a large land parcel in beach town Alibag, with the two adjoining plots together measuring over 5.19 acres. The couple has acquired the plots in Zirad village in Raigad district, for a total consideration of Rs 37.86 crore.This is the second land parcel acquired by them in the coastal town. In 2022, Kohli and Sharma had acquired an around 8-acre land parcel here to build their farmhouse.The latest transaction was registered on Tuesday, and involved stamp duty payments of about Rs 2.27 crore, showed documents accessed through CRE Matrix, a realty data analytics platform.One of the plots acquired by the couple measures around 3.6 acres, while the second spans 1.55 acres.
