This article contains Coronation Street spoilers for the episode dated Wednesday January 14 which hasn’t yet aired on ITV but is available to watch on YouTube and ITVX.

Coronation Street viewers have been disgusted by paedophile Megan Walsh’s (Beth Nixon) grooming of Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), but tonight’s episode gave us hope that she could soon be caught out by an unexpected neighbour.

Megan first arrived on Coronation Street in early November 2025, shortly after the Driscoll and Price family unit took over the Rovers.

It was quickly established that she was Will’s athletics coach, and the main reason he hadn’t wanted to move away from Hull.

After he’d run away several times, dad Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) considered allowing him to move in with a friend so he could still attend his old school and athletics club.

Totally against the idea, Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) teamed up and agreed to pay for Megan to make the journey to Manchester to continue training Will.

Amid all of this, it was revealed that Will was in a relationship with Megan, and had been for quite a while. Of course, Megan piled on the pressure for him to keep it a secret, given that she knew it was both morally reprehensible and illegal.

Part of Will’s desire to go back to Hull came from Megan breaking up with him, insisting that she didn’t want to have a long-distance relationship. Therefore, by inviting her to stay on as his coach, Eva and Maggie had unknowingly pushed them closer together.

Eventually, Megan got a job at Weatherfield High with the help of teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), and made a permanent move to Manchester.

She then embarked on a relationship with Daniel, much to Will’s horror, though she claimed it was to keep their own under wraps.

With Will unable to hide his jealousy, Daniel caught on fast, though Megan covered by explaining it away as a schoolboy crush.

From then until now, Will has made his dislike of Daniel clear, even going so far as to attack him on Christmas Day.

In tonight’s episode, things took a step up when Bertie Osbourne found a pregnancy test in Megan’s bag. Upset by Daniel’s reaction, she stormed out, and later Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) watched them having a lengthy discussion in the Rovers.

Always after the gossip, Tracy quizzed Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) on what had happened between the couple, and when Alya explained about the pregnancy test, which Megan had claimed wasn’t hers, Tracy asked if they were sure she was telling the truth.

Though Alya fought Megan’s corner, Tracy told her that there was ‘something about her’ and she should mark her words.

Could Tracy be the one to uncover Megan’s grooming and see that she faces justice?
