Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred Royal Orders on several distinguished figures on Sunday in appreciation of their pivotal roles and outstanding contributions to the nation.
His Majesty conferred the Royal Commendation Order (First Class) on Sayyid Khalid Hamad al Busaidi for his service in the fields of arts and culture. The Al Nu’man Order (First Class) was conferred on Dr Mohammed Awad al Hassan for his diplomatic service, and Dr Hamad Saif al Hinai for representing the sultanate in international organisations.
The Royal Commendation Order (Second Class) was confer on Dr Ali Abdul Hussein al Lawati for his contribution to building the foundational infrastructure of the health sector; Sheikh Ahmed Nasser al Nuaimi for his contribution to civil initiatives and social responsibility; Prof Dr Mohammed Zahir al Abri for his accomplishments in scientific research, innovation and academia; Yousuf Abdul Qadir al Kamali in the field of culture; Sulaiman Hamoud al Na’abi in the field of sports and youth; Dr Hameed Hamoud al Far’ee in the health sector; Azzan Qais al Kindi and Suleiman Mohammed al Sulaimani for achievements in entrepreneurship; Muadh Ahmed al Hinai in the field of digital economy, communications and information technology; Dr Ra’ed Abdulhafidh al Farsi in the field of disability affairs; Iman Ali al Rahbi in the field of school education; and Saleh Za’al al Farsi in the field of arts.
In addition, His Majesty conferred the Royal Commendation Order (Third Class) on Nabati Sharqi Yabqa and Amir Hassan Nouri in the field of institutional excellence.
The orders were presented by Sayyid Khalid Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, when he received the awardees in his office on Sunday.
On the occasion, the minister emphasised the fact that these orders reflect His Majesty’s appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the awardees in their respective fields of distinction. He extended his heartfelt wishes for their continued success in all future pursuits, commending their ongoing endeavours undertaken with a profound sense of duty in service to this nation and its leader.
