Watch: Manipur VDF ‘Arm-Down’ strike: Imphal east personnel protest

Village Defence Force personnel from Imphal East staged a sit-in protest as part of Manipur’s ongoing ‘arm-down, pen-down’ strike. Around 1,200 VDF members demanded regularisation, pay revision, and implementation of the Police Act. Protest leaders warned of a statewide rally if the government fails to meet demands by January 15.
