It may not come up in everyday conversation, but Brits officially think pegging is hot, with searches for it up 50% last year alone — and now, some women are taking it to the next level.
No longer satisfied with some good old fashioned thrusting action, women now want to ejaculate inside their partners.
One 28-year-old guy, who we’ll call Don*, shared his girlfriend’s sexy confession, revealing she ‘loves the idea of being able to cum in [him]’.
‘It’s both from the perspective of filling me up and also wanting to know what it feels like to cum inside someone,’ he says. ‘I’m into anal play and want her to peg me and use anal toys on me anyway, I thought the idea was super hot.’
But Don admits on Reddit that it’s technically ‘biologically impossible’, given his girlfriend doesn’t have the right equipment, AKA a penis.
Nevertheless, women were quick to admit they shared the same fantasy, with one writing: ‘It’s gratifying to hear that I’m not the only woman who has this desire.’
‘I have not stopped thinking about how much I would like a detachable appendage,’ adds another.

Sex toy sales indicate the popularity of this desire too.
Many brands, such as WHO, sell ejaculating strap-ons which simulate having a penis and finishing inside your partner. While you may not get the specific sensation, you’ll get as close as you can to the real deal.
They’re in demand too, with Lovehoney reporting a 19% increase in units sold of ejaculating dildos from 2024 to 2025.
The biggest increase in demand came from the Squirting 10 Functions Rechargeable Dildo Vibrator Seven Inch (Flesh Pink) which saw a 114% increase in sales last year compared to the year before, causing it to sell out.
While there’s no specific evidence to say more women are buying them than men, given that men already have a penis which does the same job, it’s not a leap to suggest women may have more need for these dildos.
‘Lots of us genuinely enjoy giving pleasure just as much as receiving it, and these toys make that role more visible, playful, and engaging,’ Annabelle Knight, sex and relationships expert for the toy brand, tells Metro.
‘They introduce a sense of realism, anticipation and novelty that can heighten the overall experience for both partners.
‘It shows couples are open to trying new things together, and these toys introduce a dynamic that feels fresh, exciting, and intentionally focused on shared pleasure.
‘They also reflect a broader shift towards women feeling confident about experimenting with toys, that allows them to take the lead in intimate experiences.’
Why is this a common fantasy?
The reason women want to ejaculate in men, sexuality expert Courtney Boyer tells Metro, is simple. It all comes down to power.
‘As women gain more equal footing with men in some areas of society, one of the ways they may seek to outwardly express this reality is by flipping a familiar sexual script,’ Courtney explains.
‘Cumming in someone symbolises numerous values that have been traditionally reserved for only men: agency, power, initiative, and embodiment.’
This can be a turn on because blurring these gender roles can feel taboo, and anything taboo can be erotically charged, she adds. Essentially, you get the feeling of doing something you believe you’re not supposed to do.
‘Sexuality isn’t just biology; it’s meaning. As women claim more sexual autonomy, fantasies expand beyond what’s literal. Overcoming or circumventing the once impossible is empowering,’ she adds.
‘Power envy, not penis envy’
It leans into the BDSM dynamic of dominance and submission, too.
‘Dominance is expressed through choosing to lead, mark, or claim in a consensual way,’ Courtney says. ‘Here power is about expression, not control.’
But for all these women desiring the idea of having a penis and ejaculating, Courtney doesn’t believe it equates to the concept of ‘penis envy’.
This is Sigmund Freud’s theory of female psychosexual development, which argues young girls feel deprived and envious upon realising they don’t have a phallus.
They aren’t envious as an anatomical level,’ she explains. ‘The penis represents power, not because of what it can do, but because of who it’s attached to: men.
‘I would describe it as power envy, not penis envy.’
