Poppitz assumed the position of Country Manager, Central Europe at PubMatic on January 2nd, 2026. He joins from Seedtag, a contextual advertising company, where he had been Managing Director and VP Sales since 2022. Before that, he was Managing Director at Teads Germany. Poppitz began his career in the digital advertising business at Bauer Media in 2000 before joining United Internet Media in 2004, where he worked until 2015.
With more than 25 years of experience in marketing and sales and a strong network of industry relationships, Poppitz is ideally positioned to advance PubMatic’s ambitions in the DACH region. Based in Hamburg, he leads a team located across Germany’s key media and advertising hubs. Together, they will continue to address the specific needs of customers in the region through PubMatic’s AI‑powered platforms for buyers and publishers, featuring generative and agentic AI capabilities.
