Teenager stabbed at house party fighting for life

A teenager stabbed at a house party in Sydney's west overnight is fighting for life in hospital.

Emergency services were called to a property at Shalvey about 10.40pm yesterday after a brawl broke out in the driveway during a party involving about 40 people.

Police found a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Police set up a crime scene and launched an investigation.

There have been no other reports of other injuries and no arrests have been made at this time.
