For most people, Alan Carr’s performance on the first edition of Celebrity Traitors was their TV highlight of 2025.
The 49-year-old comedian was seen sweating profusely inside the Scottish castle and outright laughing when he tried to say he was a faithful.
But, despite us only being a few days into the New Year, it appears the Chattyman might already have given us the funniest TV moment of 2026.
Alan left viewers in hysterics as he tumbled down a waterslide in his new BBC DIY show. Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job.
The hilarious moment came when Alan visited a waterpark with his co-host Amanda Holden while they renovated their latest property in Greece.
After being convinced to go on The Black Hole water slide, the comedian joked to a lifeguard: ‘Pray for me,’ before pushing himself down the long tube.
However, just moments after he set off, fans were left howling in laughter as he failed to keep his balance on the rubber ring.
Seconds later, Alan then flipped head over heels out of the inflatable and came shooting out of the tunnel, much to Amanda’s delight.
Screaming, Alan cried out: ‘I tipped out! It tipped me out!’ as Amanda wrapped him in a towel.
Vowing to ‘not go on anymore’ slides, he added: ‘It flipped me up! I hit my face on the thing.’
Do you need more Alan Carr in your life?
Taking to social media, viewers could barely contain their laughter, with @03uniquemisfit writing: ‘I lost it. Couldn’t stop laughing.’
@superTV247 also wrote: ‘I know it’s only January 5th but Alan Carr falling out of a rubber ring on a water slide is TV moment of the year.’
Meanwhile, @Issa25 said: ‘My goodness this made me laugh,’ as @ScottTHFC23 claimed: ‘Alan Carr and Amanda as a duo is so incredible.’
This comes after Alan reportedly pulled out of the contention to replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Celebrity Traitors victor was said to be a frontrunner for the job, but his 2027 tour dates clashed with the hosting gig.
The Chattyman is set to embark on a mammoth 90-gig tour in 2027, which runs from January to the start of December.
The BBC are said to be ‘gutted’ by the news after they hoped the show could jump onto Carr’s huge popularity after his stint in the Scottish castle cemented his national treasure status.
Amanda & Alan’s Greek Job is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
