The family of a pensioner who was killed in a car crash have said they have been left ‘broken hearted’ by her death.
Suzanne Wilmot, 60, from Gloucester, was driving a blue Ford when it was involved in a collision with a black Kia on December 30, 2025.
Emergency services were called to Whitehall Lane in Rudford at 5.20pm, where they found Suzanne with serious injuries.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suzanne’s family have paid tribute to her, saying: ‘It is with broken hearts that we share the loss of Sue Wilmot.

‘A deeply loved mum, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and great aunt.
‘The number of family and friends who will miss her are a testament to how wonderful she was.
‘She would do anything for others and was always making us laugh.
‘We will treasure the memories we have of her and are grateful for the family time we all got to spend with her over Christmas.’
A man in his 50s from Cheltenham was previously arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving while unfit through drink and/or drugs in connection with the incident.
He was later released under investigation so he could be treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for multiple fractures.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said: ‘Investigating officers are continuing their enquiries and asking anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not already spoken to police to come forward.
‘Additionally, they would like to hear from anyone with dashcam or any information they feel may be relevant.’
