Muscat – Muscat Nights 2026 officially opened on Thursday, organised by Muscat Municipality as part of a vibrant season of cultural and entertainment activities aimed at stimulating economic and tourism activity while enhancing community engagement.
Events are being held across several key locations in Muscat governorate, including Qurum Natural Park, Amerat Public Park, Oman Automobile Association, Royal Opera House Muscat, Seeb Beach, Quriyat, Wadi al Khoudh, as well as select shopping malls. This diverse spread offers visitors a wide range of modern and engaging experiences.
Activities are scheduled daily throughout January, with an expanded programme during weekends, providing greater flexibility for visitors and helping to sustain attendance throughout the month.

As part of efforts to facilitate public access, Muscat Municipality, in cooperation with Mwasalat, has introduced a free transportation service, in addition to an online ticket purchasing facility. Visitors can park their vehicles at Al Araimi Complex or Al Fath Square (Wattayah) parking areas, from where they will be transported free of charge to Qurum Natural Park. Return services to the same parking locations are also available. Shuttle buses operate every 30 minutes from 4.30pm to 11.30pm.
Muscat Municipality affirmed that Muscat Nights continues to play an important role as an economic driver, with increased participation from Omani talent and small and medium enterprises compared to the previous season. This aligns with the municipality’s efforts to support seasonal employment, professional empowerment and the expansion of local economic impact.
The municipality added that all event venues have been fully prepared from a technical and logistical standpoint, with essential services provided to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for visitors and the successful delivery of events.
