GameCentral has gathered the best deals across PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2 games, including Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hades 2, and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
As a new year begins, it’s the perfect time to dive into the gaming backlog or pick up a cheap deal on a title you may have missed from the past year.
If you’re looking to satisfy the latter, your best bet are the January sales across online retailers and console storefronts, with both the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop discounting hundreds of games.
Highlights include Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is cheaper than ever on Amazon at £34.57 on PlayStation 5. Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have also been notably reduced, at £29.99 and £28.99 respectively.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has returned to its Black Friday price of £26.99 at Argos across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the best alternative to Mario Kart World, is at an appealing price of £31.99.
The Nintendo eShop sale has some great deals on breakout indie titles, with Hades 2 down to £18.74, while Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance is below £18. Both titles are among the best action games of last year, along with Split Fiction at £28.99 on Argos.
The PlayStation Store sale runs until January 7, while the Nintendo eShop sale concludes on January 11, 2026. So while you have some time to pick up a bargain, don’t expect these deals to last the entire month.
