A young boy is recovering after a dog attack on the NSW central coast.
Emergency services were called to Bateau Bay at 5.30pm yesterday after the pre-school-aged child was injured.
The boy was flown to Westmead Hospital in Sydney in a stable condition with injuries to his face.

Several NSW Ambulance paramedics were sent to the scene while police were also in attendance.
The dog attack is the second reported case in the state this week.
In a separate incident, three people were mauled by a dog in the town of Raymond Terrace north of Newcastle.
Paramedics treated the residents before police arrived on scene and euthanised the animal.
