Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Osun State for the 2026 election, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, has disclosed that the poll will be an easy ride for the party.
He added that as a candidate of the party, he has no competitor for the poll, hence, his victory in the poll is certain.
Speaking at his country home during a prayer programme organised by the An-sar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria Ikire branch recently, he said the prayer is symbolic as he leads the party into a governorship poll next year.
According to him, I want to appreciate the almighty God for allowing us to offer this prayer; it is a yearly prayer by the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Ikire branch.
This year is symbolic, in the sense that come 8th August, 2026, the gubernatorial election in Osun State, and we are very hopeful; hence, prayer is very important, since we believe in the oneness of the Almighty Allah.
“I have said this several times that Bola Oyebamiji doesn’t have a competitor, I am going to win that Governorship election come 2026. We believe strongly that by the special grace of God.”
Earlier, the Chief Imam of An-sar-ud-deen, Ikire branch, Badmus Adekunle, noted that the endorsement of Oyebamiji’s candidature by the leadership of the APC as its flag-bearer for the forthcoming Osun governorship election is a clear testimony to his sterling leadership qualities, unwavering loyalty to the party, proven competence in public service, and the immense goodwill he enjoys across the state.
