Besides Olivia Attwood being an all-around babe, she has also become a cultural icon in the past few years.

With shows such as Filthy Rich, Bad Boyfriends, and Price of Perfection gripping audiences around the world, we know that when Olivia has something to say, we listen.

Recently, the podcast host and presenter took to her social media account to share the makeup products that have ‘changed her life’.

When it comes to getting ready for an event, party, or dinner, we always want to have the tools in our makeup bags that will keep our glam fixed and staying where it is for the whole evening.

So, with New Year’s Eve imminent, we of course sat down with a pad and pen to take notes.

In the video, which has racked up over 1.3 million views and 28k likes, Olivia says, ‘We’re going to start really simple, primer. I know it sounds like an obvious step, but you can’t cheat by not using primer. Your makeup will never sit the same, or last, or look how you want it to look without primer.’

She then continues to explain how if she wants a dewy look, then she will opt for either Vieve Skin Nova Primer, retailing from £14, or the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which costs £54.

Following those, Olivia shared a great tip to layer on a second primer if you’re doing heavier glam with either the Maybelline Grippy Serum Makeup Primer, £10.99, or the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer, usually retailing for £35.99, but is currently on offer for £28.

She then says how setting spray isn’t just for the final step of your routine, it should be used between each layer. This helps to lock in and set each product, maximising its longevity.

In the video, Olivia uses Morphe Jumbo Continuous Setting Mist, retailing for £28. Some of our other favourite setting sprays include Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, available from £20, and Benefit’s POREfessional Super Setter, £31.50.

Olivia finishes the video by discussing setting powders and reveals how she recently learnt about the benefits of pink-based powders, stating, ‘Don’t be afraid of pink-based setting powders. There’s something quite youthful in the pink powder versus a yellow powder.’

The reason this is is that the pink has colour-correcting properties, which minimises dark circles and brightens the complexion.

Olivia uses a go-to for many makeup users, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur Tone-Up Rose, costing £23. Others we swear by are Fenty Beauty Set It Down Superfine Blurring Setting Powder in Strawberry Milk, £28, or NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Snatch Powder in Cheeky Cherry, retailing for £8.99.

Whatever your plans for New Year’s Eve may be, have your glam sitting perfectly all night as you go about celebrating 2026.
