The first teaser for the Malcolm in the Middle revival has dropped – this is not a drill!
It’s been 19 long years since the beloved sitcom came to an end with its seventh season, but now we’re just months away from a chaotic and hilarious new series.
Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is coming to Disney+ on April 10, and the first trailer offers a glimpse of what to expect from the revival.
The synopsis reads: ‘After shielding himself from his family for over a decade, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is dragged back into their orbit when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.’
At the start of the teaser, Malcolm says: ‘My life is fantastic now. All I had to do is stay away from my family.’
A new rendition of classic theme song Boss of Me by They Might By Giants can be heard blaring out over rapid-fire clips showing the new series will be every bit as bonkers as the original.
It’s safe to say fans are buzzing for the biggest comeback of the year, as @Joe-ol6zc commented on YouTube: ‘So hyped it’s unreal. This show was a huge part of my childhood.’
Others, like @Hallmarkenthusiast247, really couldn’t keep it in, posting: ‘I AM SCREAMING I CANT HANDLE IT!!!!!!!’
Honestly, same.
