This chaos-filled, raunchy Texan drama is now available to stream on ITVX after proving to be a huge hit in the US.
Following an impressive debut on Netflix with 5.2million views, fans in the UK were left wondering when it would become available across the pond.
Finally, the wait is over, and viewers can now stream The Hunting Wives on ITVX.
It’s a sapphic Republican drama based on the novel with the same name by May Cobb, and UK viewers are bingeing its contents now that it’s been added to the streamer.
When Sophie (Brittany Snow) moves to the fictional town of Maple Brook, Texas, she quickly becomes involved with Margo (Malin Åkerman) – the leader of a group of gun-toting, conservative women who call themselves the Hunting Wives.

Things get messy when the murder of a local cheerleader occurs, inviting interrogation and scrutiny into the community.
From then on, twists and turns ensue, as well as plenty of sex, with Michelle Duncan summing things up perfectly in her Google review: ‘These women are so fantastically naughty and I am hooked!’
It’s been labelled as trashy, soap-style telly, with Kira Marie Timm also saying on Google: ‘There are some plot holes which are left unanswered, unfortunately’, but added: ‘Watch it and don’t overthink it.’
The show also has a respectable critics’ score of 76% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, where John Stark of Mac the Movie Guy writes: ‘The Hunting Wives knows exactly which buttons to push to get its audience aroused enough to stick around for a solid whodunit.’
Other cast members include Evan Jonigkeit, Katie Lowes, Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, and Chrissy Metz.
As UK fans sink their teeth into the first outing, other fans, like Twinkle Montgomery, are calling out for more: ‘Omg! Where is season two? I need it right now!’
Luckily for her, season 2 is already in production, according to Deadline.
The publication previously reported that it’s been renewed for a global Netflix release, which is good news for fans in the UK who won’t have to wait to watch it five months after everyone else, like with season 1.
Snow and Åkerman will be returning for the second season, which continues where the finale ended.
The logline for season two says: ‘Sophie and Margo are on the outs.
‘But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?’
Production has already begun for the next instalment of the Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment show.
Author Cobb will be executive producing again alongside the show’s creator, Rebecca Cutter, and 3 Arts’ Erwin Stoff.
The Hunting Wives is available to watch on ITVX.
