Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty tied the knot in a picture perfect winter ceremony on Saturday.
With a guest list including the Beckhams, the stars were all out to celebrate the Olympic swimming champ, 30, and daughter of Gordon Ramsay, 25,who got engaged last September.
However, after a feud erupted within Adam’s family just weeks before the ceremony, it has now been revealed that one of his ‘heartbroken’ family members reached out in a text message just before the wedding took place.
According to the Daily Mail, Adam’s mother, Caroline, was ‘beside herself’ after missing her son’s special day, telling the publication: ‘I’m not going to be hurt like this again’.
She added that she felt as if Holly and Adam ‘have cut my heart out’.
It was also claimed that Adam’s aunt, Louise, who was reportedly not invited to the wedding, told the sportsman over text: ‘I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
‘Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.’
Adam’s mother was allegedly ‘banned’ from her son’s wedding.
The rift between Adam and Caroline, 59, has reportedly spilled over from Holly’s hen do, from which she was also absent.
Caroline had also originally vowed to ‘watch from the street’ in somewhat of an act of protest on her son’s special day, but she later stood down.
She is said to have backtracked on her gate-cashing plans after her husband, Mark, convinced her she’d be ‘too upset’ by doing so.
A family member added to The Sun that Caroline accepted ‘it would be too sad, and she doesn’t want to spoil his big day’.
‘Me going would just cause even more of a storm, and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day,’ Caroline also echoed herself. ‘I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.’
Adam was seen walking into the church with his son George, 4, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro.
Bride Holly was walked down the aisle by her celebrity chef father, who shared his own poignant message ahead of the ceremony.
‘I’m truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law Adam Peaty!’ he wrote in a message on Instagram alongside photos of him with his daughter.
‘I love you so much Holly Ramsay and couldn’t be a prouder Dad xxx,’ he added.
All her family were in attendance, including her chef dad Gordon, her mother Tana, as well as her siblings, Matilda, 24, Megan, 27, Jack, 25, Oscar, six, and Jesse, who is one.

The Olympian has regularly shared details of his close relationship to the Ramsay family, who he’s credited with helping him escape ‘three years of hell’ struggling with alcoholism and his split from his ex-girlfriend.
In a statement shared by Adam last month addressing his family fallout, he said: ‘Over the past few days, a lot has been reported and comments posted about the private life of Holly and myself.
‘My sister Bethany, has also been targeted. This has been almost entirely one-sided and, in many cases, excessive and intrusive. What makes it worse is that it has been encouraged by members of my family.’
