I am a lip liner addict. Now, I know many people may say this, but I truly own over 30 lip liners, from pencil to liquid and Sacheu peel off designs, stains and pens. However, I have never seen a lip liner like NYX Cosmetics’ new Lingerie Lip Liner.
I also own several NYX Cosmetics products, specifically hero lip items, including the Butter Gloss, Soft Matte Lip Cream, and Fat Oil, but the Lingerie Lip Liner may just be my favourite yet.
I first spotted the Lingerie Lip Liner on Instagram with beauty content creators raving about its accuracy in lining their lips, and its staying power. So, of course I was sold, and had to try for myself.
The Lip Lingerie is a must have for many reasons, but what stands it out in a sea of liners is the ballpoint tip. This design feature not only makes the liner glide seamlessly along the outer lips, but it also helps achieve an ultra fine line.
One bug bear about pencil liners is they can get blunt easily, or can break, but those issues are averted with this liner.
Another huge bonus is this liner is transfer-proof, smudge-proof, waterproof and long-lasting for hours of wear.
This formula is also ultra-lightweight, comfortable and leaves a second-skin feel, which is unsurprising considering how velvety soft the Lip Butter Gloss and matte iterations feel on the lips.
This lip liner pen is available in 12 shades, which include neutral tones as well as warm red, berry, plum and brown hues. Suffice to say there is a liner to help achieve any make-up look, whether you are opting for a natural no make-up make-up look, or bold power move.
While some may layer with a bold lipstick, others will opt for a matte lip butter or lip gloss, others will wear on its own for that 90s liner look. The options are endless.
