Sunday has been declared a day of reflection, one week on from the Bondi Beach terror attack that claimed the lives of 15 innocent people.
Sunday, December 21, will be a day of remembrance to honour the victims of the horrific terrorist attack at Bondi Beach and show solidarity with the Jewish community.
The day of reflection falls on the final full day of Chanukah, a time usually associated with light, faith and resilience.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also confirmed that the NSW government and other state and territory leaders are working on arrangements for a national day of mourning to be held early in the new year.
"This will allow families the time and space to lay their loved ones to rest and to support those still recovering," Albanese said.
"We invite people across Australia to light a candle at 6.47pm, exactly one week since the attack unfolded as a quiet act of remembrance, with family, friends or loved ones."
Australians are also being asked to observe a minute of silence to remember the victims of Sunday's terror attack.
Television and radio networks will also be asked to pause for the moment of reflection.
"This day is about standing with the Jewish community, wrapping our arms around them and all Australians sharing their grief," Albanese said.
"It is a moment to pause. reflect and affirm that hatred and violence will never define who we are as Australians."
All flags flown on Commonwealth government buildings on Sunday will be flown at half mast as a mark of respect for the lives lost and the shared grief across Australia.
"Buildings will be lit up in yellow for the evening. Lights will beam into the sky from Bondi Pavilion," NSW Premier Chris Minns said.
"The NSW government will support Jewish leaders to hold a community memorial event, and a shareable candle image will be used on social media.
"It's a day of reflection and a pause for the terrible events, the shocking crimes that occurred last Sunday and a show of national respect for those that have lost their lives."
The NSW government has also partnered with Rotary to create a fundraising appeal specifically for the victims of Sunday's terror attack.
The Unite for Bondi - Bondi Terror Attack Appeal will provide support for the victims and their families of the victims who were killed.
