The final of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 is just a few days away as a celebrity will soon waltz away with the Glitterball trophy.

Last week’s show saw Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon exit the competition after a dance off against Love Island star Amber Davies and pro-partner Nikita Kuzmin.

Balvinder revealed the moment she knew her fate had been sealed, as she said it was ‘near-impossible’ to beat Amber in the bottom two.

This came after Lewis Cope and Katya Jonesshock elimination the week prior, which surprised fans who presumed the pair were favourites for the finale.

This year’s Strictly series has taught fans that when it comes to the high-stakes world of ballroom dancing, you just can’t predict what will happen… or can you?

Ahead of the final on December 20, we’ve had a look at the remaining dancers’ odds on Paddy Power to see which of the stars should make some space on their shelf for the main prize.

As things stand, Karen Carney is currently the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing.

The bookie has given her 4/9 odds to win, which means she has a 69.2% chance of dancing her way into the history books, after she already became the first footballer to ever get into the final.

Still, just because she’s the favourite, that doesn’t mean she’s won yet.

Nipping at the heels of Karen’s tap shoes is George Clarke, who has 17/10 odds of winning.

That gives him a 37% chance of taking home the Glitterball trophy.

Prior to last week’s show, George was the front-runner of the competition.

But now, even our columnist Adam Miller has said that he is ‘very worried’ for the social media star.

Finally, we get to Amber, who, despite surviving back-to-back dance-offs, has the lowest odds of any dancer.

Paddy Power has given her 35/1 to win, which means there’s just a 2.8% chance she gets her mitts on the trophy.

Still, back in week one, would you have predicted she’d beat Lewis in a dance off? I wouldn’t, and I watch TV for a living.

So stranger things have happened on the dance floor.

Who has left Strictly?

Our very own dance-off Queen Balvinder exited the competition after coming up against Amber and Nikita.

Balvinder, 47, and Amber, 29, got to choose one of their two Saturday night routines to perform again for the judges.

The EastEnders actress chose her salsa to Gloria Estefan’s Rhythm Is Gonna Get You and Get On Your Feet, while West End star Amber reprised her couple’s choice to Raye’s cover of Fly Me To The Moon, which scored a perfect 40.

In emotional scenes, judges Motsi MabuseShirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke all opted to save Amber.

Elsewhere in the competition, Lewis and Katya’s exit was a massive shock. Prior to that, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank, Ellie Goldstein and Chris Robshaw were all eliminated.

They came after Stefan Dennis, Ross King and Thomas Skinner were voted off the show.

Watch the Strictly Come Dancing final on Saturday, December 20 at 7pm on BBC One.
