Goa HC orders suo motu PIL over illegal nightclubs after Arpora fire kills 25

The court has called for coordinated response across local bodies, appointed amicus curiae to map violations statewide. It issued the order while hearing a petition which alleged that the authorities failed to act against Birch by Romeo Lane, where the fire accident occurred, despite repeated complaints.
