Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) life has been completely destroyed in EastEnders.

Forced to become addicted to drugs to numb the pain of being held captive for months, accidentally killing Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) while defending himself and Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and losing his dad, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) to prison after he took the rap for his sons crime, Harry has been broken.

The one person he holds responsible? Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).

It was Ravi who ensnared him within his burgeoning crime ring in the first place, leading to all of the hideous things that have since befallen him. On top of losing Teddy, Harry has struggled with the vice grip his addiction has had on him and when he returns to the Square, around the same time as Ravi himself, Harry’s eyes are ablaze.

While Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) and Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) are elated to see their family patriarch back, Harry can barely contain his rage. He even coldly dismisses Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), who attempts to rekindle their relationship.

After asking Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) to move back home, Harry encounters Ravi and lets him know exactly what he thinks.

Harry returns to work at the Arches, though it’s evident that he’s struggling, both with his addiction and the utter hell he’s been through. Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), quite innocently, offers Harry some kind words of advice, which Harry completely misconstrues, deciding that, in order to move on, he needs revenge.

  • Heck no!Check

Channelling his inner-Phil, Harry lays in wait, preparing to jump Ravi and give him the merciless beating he feels he deserves, though, unbeknownst to him, he’s nowhere near as stealthy as he thinks.

His fearsome mum, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), has spotted her son and is fully aware of what’s about to take place.

Nicola herself is no stranger to seeking revenge, and having also lost Teddy, Barney moving out and the agony of watching Harry succumb to addiction, will she stop her wayward son taking the pound of flesh he feels he’s owed, or let him seek vengeance on behalf of their family?

Either way, it sounds as though Ravi is in serious danger, and his beef with Harry is anything but settled…
