Its not just Trump, its an ongoing process. Fascism is like a virus that always lies in wait for an opportunity to surface. That’s why oppression comes in waves — it surfaces, we push back, it goes dormant, it sees an opportunity, surfaces again and so on. The problem we have is how to push back permanently without falling into the same trap going the other way — its tempting to use these tools on world-be fascists but that opens the door for the exact same evil that we’re trying to combat.
