The case has advanced against a man suspected in a series of home break-ins in Troy.
Brian Kellum, 42 — aka Brian Walker — is charged with two counts of second-degree home invasion, and police said it’s believed he was involved in other home invasions in Troy and the surrounding area.

Kellum was arrested Jan. 24 at a traffic stop in Troy, about 90 minutes after a reported home break-in on East Big Beaver Road.
A district court judge bound over the case against Kellum on March 20. Arraignment before Judge Jeffery Matis is scheduled for March 27. Kellum is in the Oakland County Jail, with bond set at $100,000.
