The FTVC major goes beyond performance, fostering versatility by developing actors who can act, direct, and write their own work—ensuring you graduate as a well-rounded professional ready for today’s entertainment industry.
With the program based in New York City, students engage with working industry professionals through guest lectures, workshops, and hands-on projects. They collaborate on student films, commercials, and podcasts, building a portfolio that includes their own professional reel. The program culminates in a senior showcase where students demonstrate their talent in front of casting directors, agents, and production companies.
Graduates of the FTVC program have gone on to work in network television, major motion pictures, streaming platforms, and voice-over roles in animation and video games. Many secure professional opportunities while still enrolled, thanks to the program’s extensive industry connections. Whether performing on screen or behind the mic, FTVC alumni thrive in the fast-changing world of media.
