The Milwaukee Bucks will have a tough decision to make before the upcoming NBA trade deadline and it involves the future of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to league insider Marc Stein, there are still plenty of folks who believe that the two-time MVP and former NBA Finals MVP could get traded before the deadline (via The Stein Line):

"Representatives from two more teams insisted to me Tuesday that they still believe a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade remains feasible before next week's deadline."

If that happens, according to Stein, there is one suitor that stands out above the rest and it is not the New York Knicks.

Stein reported that it is the Miami Heat who could make a big push for Antetokounmpo next week:

"So what team out there could actually tempt the Bucks into a deal in the next week-plus?

The most common answer to that question when posed to various league executives continues to be Miami. Now is that merely because the Heat themselves are said to be transmitting a vibe of confidence that they can somehow sway the Bucks? Possibly. Miami, for what it’s worth, is said to believe it has a real shot at crafting a pathway to Antetokounmpo.

The Heat’s presumed best offer, mind you, would likely be headlined by Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware and draft capital. Is that enough to speed up the Bucks’ timetable?"

A trade package involving Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware and draft capital could fascinate the Bucks for several reasons.

Herro, who is originally from Wisconsin, has averaged at least 20 points per game five seasons in a row.

Ware, who was recently named to the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, is one of the more intriguing young players in the NBA.

Miami would need to include $18.6 million in salary (approximately what Norman Powell is owed) to make a deal legal within the CBA. Or perhaps they would get a third team involved to make salaries match instead.

The Heat could offer their own first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft as well as 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031 and 2032.
