Marco Silva has played down the severity of Harry Wilson’s injury after Fulham’s 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Monday night.

Raul Jimenez’s penalty in the closing stages of the first half sealed the win for Fulham at Craven Cottage, which has put Silva’s side 13th in the Premier League.

Wilson, meanwhile, appeared to injure his left knee during his attempt to tackle Forest defender Neco Williams in the second half.

The 28-year-old required treatment from Fulham’s medical team but was able to continue for a few minutes before he was replaced by Adama Traore.

Wilson will now be assessed ahead of Fulham’s next Premier League game away to West Ham on December 27.

‘It looks he’s going to be okay,’ Silva said of Wilson after Fulham’s win over Forest.

‘I think it was like a big knock there, it was not something that he twisted but now it’s, of course, painful.

‘But let’s see, tomorrow we have a session, we are going to assess the players from tonight and see how he’s going to heal.’
