Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Military Order of Oman (Second Class) on Lt Gen Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz al Saud, Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force. The honour is in recognition of Lt Gen Saud’s efforts and contributions to strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
The order was presented by H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, when he received the Commander of Royal Saudi Air Force in his office at Al Murtafa’a Camp.
The ceremony was attended by Air Vice-Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of Royal Air Force of Oman. It was also attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate of Oman and the Military Attaché of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Muscat.
