The San Jose State Spartans are expected to hire former Oregon Ducks offensive lineman and offensive graduate assistant coach Ramsen Golpashin as the program's new offensive line coach, per The Athletic's Bruce Feldman. The news comes on the same day that the Alabama Crimson Tide announced that they were hiring former Ducks offensive line coach Adrian Klemm for the same position.
Golpashin played for Ducks under head coach Chip Kelly before beginning his coaching career at Hawaii in 2015. From there, he came back to Oregon as an offensive graduate assistant before coaching at California in 2017.
In 2018, Kelly brought Golpashin onto his staff at UCLA as a graduate assistant coach. He stayed on the staff for five seasons before departing and coaching with the Green Bay Packers for two seasons. The former Ducks offensive lineman went back to UCLA in 2025 as a senior defensive analyst.
SOURCE: Ramsen Golpashin is expected to become the new O-line coach at San Jose State. The former Oregon Duck OL, who spent two years on the Green Bay Packers staff, spent six seasons working at UCLA with the Bruins O and D-lines. He also has coached at Oregon, Cal and Hawaii.

Now, he's expected to be hired by San Jose State as the offensive line coach under head coach Ken Niumatalolo.
The Spartans finished tied for 113th in points per game a season ago and 111th in rushing yards, clearly needing a reinvigoration in the offensive line room. Thanks to his vast coaching experience and playing experience with the Ducks, Golpashin will have a chance to help improve San Jose State's offensive line room.
