Eight arrested in Bihar mob lynching case after Muslim hawker dies in hospital

Mohammad Athar Hussain, who sold clothes on bicycle to earn a livelihood, was allegedly tortured and lynched over his religious identity on December 5, 2025 at Bhattapur village in Nawada district. The police said they were conducting raids to arrest the remaining accused.
