It’s safe to say that EastEnders’ preeminent bad boy, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is truly reaping what he sowed over this past year.
Ravi’s desperation to recoup the Panesar fortune that Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) absconded with lead him to seek out Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), another Albert Square resident with experience in the nastier end of organised crime.
Though she warned him that the contacts she had were incredibly dangerous, Ravi went ahead and set up a sprawling drug and exploitation network, roping vulnerable Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) into his operation, while employing the incredible dangerous Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu). Ravi found himself deep within the underworld, perhaps deeper than he could handle.
As the ring collapsed after Kojo and Harry’s escape, Ravi found himself hauled in front of the police and, in a bid to escape jail, made a deal: he’d become an informant in exchange for his freedom.
His family suffered as news of his involvement in the drug dealing came to light, especially his beloved Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), to whom he’d previously promised that he’d leave his criminality in the past, while his kids, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) and Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) were equally horrified to learn what their dad had gotten himself wrapped up in.
After Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Panesar-Unwin (Heather Peace) told Ravi he needed to move out, his criminality proving to be an issue in their adoption plans, he was taken away by a cadre of angry-looking gangsters, returning home the next day beaten and bloodied.
Wanting to keep his family safe, Ravi insisted that Priya, Avani and Nugget stay with Suki and Eve, while he found somewhere else to live.
Returning home to his loving family, Ravi is seen by Harry, who’s life has been destroyed by Ravi’s actions. Having battled a severe addiction due to Okie feeding him drugs while holding him captive and losing his dad, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) to prison, after he took the rap for his son’s accidental killing of Okie, Harry’s thirst for vengeance is strong.
Taking Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) advice completely the wrong way, Harry decides that Ravi needs to pay and, after a clash in the Square, plans an ambush.
Unsatisfied with the outcome, and still determined that Ravi must suffer, Harry steps up his plans to inflict as much pain on his enemy as he can and spots his chance when Ravi’s family head out for a meeting with the adoption assessors.

With Ravi’s drink spiked, he staggers out onto the Square, unsteady on his feet, as Harry takes the opportunity to lure him toward the Arches. When Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) interferes, Harry is forced to leave a deteriorating and hallucinating Ravi alone in the garage.
With his family searching for him, Ravi continues to succumb to the drugs in his system, though as the hallucinations get more and more intense, there’s terrible consequences.
Has Harry enacted the ultimate revenge on Ravi?
