Crystal Palace are searching for a new manager after Oliver Glasner confirmed he will leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.

Glasner guided Palace to their first-ever major trophy last year as his side beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

However, the 51-year-old’s contract is due to expire this summer and he has informed Palace that he will not sign a new deal.

‘A decision has already been taken, months ago,’ Glasner revealed at his press conference on Friday.

‘I had a meeting with Steve [Parish] in October, the international break. We had a very long talk, and I told him I will not sign a new contract.

Portugal head coach Roberto Martinez has been named as the early favourite by bookmakers Paddy Power to replace Glasner at 5/1.

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna and Brendan Rodgers, who is currently the head coach of Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah, are next on the list of possible replacements at 11/2.

Inigo Perez, whose Rayo Vallecano side are currently 10th in La Liga, is also considered as one of the frontrunners alongside McKenna and Rodgers.

Steve Cooper and Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked by Nottingham Forest in October after just 39 days in charge, are next on the bookmakers’ list at 6/1.

Ruben Amorim, who was sacked by Manchester United last week, is priced at 16/1 to take the job at Palace. Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca, who left Chelsea earlier this month, is also available at the same odds.
