Last night the ACC announced the 2026 football schedule and this year it seems like the ACC decided to favor the Tigers. There isn’t much to complain about this year with the schedule. Maybe you nitpick things, but there are no real excuses here. Below is the 2026 Clemson schedule along with a few sometimes cynical thoughts.
Clemson @ LSU – Sept 5th
Who knows how this one plays out, but it should be entertaining. If you are thinking about going down to Baton Rouge I highly recommend it. Well worth a visit to one of the best stadiums in the country
Clemson vs. Georgia Southern – Sept 12th
Cupcake, moving on .
Clemson vs. UNC – Sept 19th
Hopefully another cupcake game. But maybe a little more meat on the bone to get a sense of what this team really is.
Clemson @ Cal – Sept 25th (Friday)
While it will be a short week, it is nice to have the extra day with Miami coming up the following week.
Clemson vs. Miami – Oct 3rd
This is currently the biggest game on the schedule. This game will show what Clemson is and is not in 2026. Consistency is what makes this time an ACC title contender, but the Miami game will tell us if Clemson is ready.
BYE – Oct 10th
No one ever loses to bye week
Clemson vs. Charleston Southern – Oct 17th
Hey look, we get a second bye!
Clemson vs. Virginia Tech – Oct 24th
It will be interesting to see what James Franklin has done this year.
Clemson @ Florida State – Oct 31st
I’ve just given up trying to figure this one out. Hopefully Clemson has gotten off the doormat, no clue if FSU will manage it as well. But if not this could be it for Mike Norvell at FSU.
Clemson @ Syracuse – Nov 6th or Nov 7th (Flex)
Let’s hope for a Saturday game. Friday night in Syracuse is 100% a pass for me, thanks.
Clemson vs. Georgia Tech – Nov 14th
Hopefully the Wramblin’ Wreck has already wrecked themselves this year.
Clemson @ Duke – Nov 21st
Maybe Duke will have a hostage QB, or maybe not. Either way this one will be interesting against the reigning ACC Champions
Clemson vs. South Carolina – Nov 28th
Finger lickin’ good this year. Hopefully Morris brings his 2014 magic and not his 2011-2013 magic.
