Birthday celebrations have kicked off over the pond for Nicola Peltz and it looks like Brooklyn Beckham has taken notes from his parents.
Nicola turned 31 on January 9, spending the day with her husband as well as her brother, Bradley Peltz, 36.
She shared ‘some beautiful moments’ on Instagram, including Brooklyn, 26,bringing her a huge bouquet of white roses.
In another picture, the couple relaxed with a £4,300 bottle of Screaming Eagle sauvignon blanc, which just so happens to be one of Victoria’s favourite brands.
‘Special bottle for a special day,’ Brooklyn wrote on his Instagram story, with his wedding ring front and centre, mirroring a story posted by his mum at Christmas in 2017.
During happier times, before the feud, the former Spice Girl had written ‘love u’, tagging her eldest son and her husband, adding it was ‘Time to celebrate’.
Over the years, Sir David has gifted his wife of over 25 years plenty of flowers for her birthday, often choosing white roses.
Wine and flowers are hardly an unusual present, but it must be really good wine to still be Brooklyn’s choice in the midst of this huge fallout.
The family has largely maintained a dignified silence on whispers of an ongoing feud, despite cryptic social media posts.
Skipping important events like Sir David’s knighthood and his 50th birthday has been enough to convince many that something serious has gone down.
Things escalated when the hot sauce salesman reportedly sent a legal letter instructing his parents to only contact him through lawyers from now on.
Those close to Brooklyn claim he has asked his parents to ‘stop’ contacting him repeatedly, but this has not happened, so lawyers are now involved.
‘It had been leading to issues with his mental health….it was to protect himself,’ a source told the Mirror.
They added that Brooklyn would prefer any attempts at a reconciliation to be handled ‘privately’ and away from social media.
Recent developments sparked a rare response from brother Cruz, 20, who is following in Victoria’s footsteps with his own singing career.
He accused his brother of blocking all of his immediate family members days before Christmas, posting ‘NOT TRUE’ to a story claiming it was the other way round.
It’s been reported that Victoria unknowingly escalated the feud by showing her appreciation for her son’s cooked chicken with a like.
‘There was no intention behind it other than to show she’s thinking of him before Christmas. She had no idea it would lead to this fallout,’ a source told Metro at the time.
‘She can’t understand why Brooklyn would make the decision to block her, David, and his brothers. Cruz and Romeo are just as hurt by it and it feels like Brooklyn has truly cut them out of his life.’
Nicola’s birthday celebrations came days after the American socialite deleted a post in which she paid tribute to her mother-in-law.
Originally posted on Victoria’s birthday in 2024, Nicola had called her ‘beautiful’ and added: ‘I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.’
