Avalanche hits J&K’s Sonamarg after heavy snowfall, burying houses and resorts — video

A massive avalanche struck Sonamarg tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night, captured on CCTV, but miraculously caused no loss of life. Heavy snowfall across the valley led to flight cancellations at Srinagar airport, stranding tourists, and the closure of the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
