Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) stages a Hollyoaks comeback in scenes next week as the legendary soap clan pull together to help their own.
Matriarch Myra is stunned upon her return to learn that Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) is in rehab but her first port of call is to help Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin).
Baby Joseph is in hospital and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) head to see Sienna Blake (Anna Passey).
Ste wants to know if she thinks Cleo really could have hurt Joseph – and Siennas admits that she does, just as Cleo enters.
Mercedes, meanwhile, is at the rehab clinic.
The McQueens are in attendance and it doesn’t take long before things go awry, with Goldie (Chelsee Healey) blaming Merce for bringing Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) into their lives.
Myra walks in soon after and Mercedes turn to blame her, opening up about her childhood and later she reads a note from Warren.
The situation takes a turn then when Jenson (Ryan Clayton) arrives, laying on the charm good and proper. The question is: just what is he up to?
The week in question proves eventful for the McQueens, with John Paul (James Sutton) missing his addiction support meeting, catching newcomer Smithy on his way out. Smithy proves supportive as he opens up about Mercedes’ struggles, offering him his number.
Later, JP takes Smithy for a coffee and attempts to figure out the policeman’s sexuality.
Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer), meanwhile, is arrested when he gives the steroid pills back to his dealer. Myra and Goldie enlist Dodger Savage’s (Danny Mac) help.
Elsewhere in the village…
Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) attempts to make things right with Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass), Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) and Vicky Grant (Anta Lawrence) in the wake of their exploitation ordeal, summoning them to the garage to give them Grace Black’s (Tamara Wall) inheritance money.

The trio are delighted and waste little time in celebrating with a night out. Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) encourages them to invest their money.

Rex, meanwhile, resolves to remove pictures of Grace from the flat as he’s consumed with grief as he pushes Forggy (John Middleton) away. But there’s a big shock in store for the mechanic as Ste decides it’s time to tell the truth about James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), informing his boyfriend that the lawyer is still alive!
The question is: how will Rex and Leela react to the news?
Elsewhere, Warren is determined to find out who bought a round of drinks on his card while Gemma Johnston (Tisha Merry) proves supportive, which raises his eyebrows.
