This 2000 BMW M Roadster is one of 196 cars finished in Dakar Yellow over black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. It has been registered in Georgia and California from new, and 52k of the 56k miles have been added since the seller purchased the car in 2001. Power is from a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, heated sport seats, a BMW Business cassette stereo, a remote CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. Service in September 2025 included replacing the crankcase vent valve, mass airflow sensor, valve cover gasket, battery, air filter, clutch cylinders, engine mounts, and tires. This M Roadster is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a wind deflector, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Dakar Yellow (337), and features include a power-operated black convertible soft top, a removable hardtop, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. A ding is noted on the passenger’s door, and scrapes are present on the underside of the front bumper cover.

Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels show curb marks and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, which were fitted in September 2025. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.

The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, a BMW Business cassette stereo, a remote CD changer, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The passenger’s seat is loosely connected to the car, the driver’s seatbelt guide is broken, and wear is present on the driver seat’s bolster.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 56k miles, approximately 52k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Work in September 2025 included replacing an O2 sensor as well as the crankcase vent valve, mass airflow sensor, valve cover gasket, battery, air filter, and engine mounts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch cylinders were replaced in September 2025.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
