This 1984 Porsche 928S is a running project with low engine compression, and it shows 63k miles following registration history in Missouri and Florida. Specified in Chiffon White over a red leather interior, the car features a 4.7-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ phone-dial alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. Purchased by the current owner in 2018, this 928S is offered at no reserve on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with manufacturer’s literature, compression test results, a clean Carfax report, and a Florida title.

The car is finished in Chiffon White (182) and features fog lights, a rear spoiler, and pop-up headlights with washers. The side of the car have been refinished, per the selling dealer, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The silver-finished 15″ phone-dial alloy wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus V2 Concept2 tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in red leather, and interior appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.7-liter V8 was factory rated at 234 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer tells us that the engine produces low compression readings, and images of the test results can be seen in the gallery below.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rear-mounted four-speed automatic transaxle.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
