Ukraine – Meeting between M. Jean-Noël Barrot and Mr Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine (19 February 2026)

Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, had a meeting with Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine, in Paris today.
Together they discussed the situation in Ukraine, whose energy infrastructure is daily targeted by Russian strikes in the depths of winter, and the assistance provided by France both bilaterally and under the French G7 presidency.
