This 1989 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced, and it was initially delivered to Cornes Motors of San Diego, California. Showing 22k miles, the car is finished in Nero over matching leather, and it is powered by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 paired, which received a timing belt service in June 2023. The exterior has a removable black roof panel, dual electronically controlled side mirrors, and a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, while the cabin contains an Alpine CDE-141 CD stereo, air conditioning, and power windows. The car also has a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, a Clifford alarm system, and convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels. This 328 GTS is now offered in New York by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a stamped maintenance booklet, service records, a car cover, a toolkit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero (901) and features a removable black roof panel. Additional exterior details include pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, dual electronically controlled side mirrors, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below along with imperfections.

Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS, which was introduced to the 328 in the middle of 1988 model-year production. The brake fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.

The bucket seats are trimmed in Nero leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include an Alpine CDE-141 CD stereo, a Clifford alarm system, a gated shifter, power windows, and a rear-window defroster. The hazard switch was replaced in June 2023, and the air-conditioning compressor was replaced in September 2024.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A timing belt service was carried out in June 2023, at which time the water pump, thermostat housing seal, coolant, gearbox fluid, tensioner pulleys, oil pan gaskets, spark plugs, and shift shaft seals were replaced. An oil change was performed and the rear hood struts were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Cornes Motors of San Diego, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total suggested retail price of $86,200.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
